Christopher J. Acklin
A native of Michigan, Chris spent his early childhood in northern Michigan before settling in Grand Rapids. Chris considers himself to be an avid “techie,” and uses his knowledge of technology to keep our practice cutting edge. This makes the firm more efficient and accessible to clients. Daisy Benavidez
A resident of Michigan for most of her life, Daisy has particularly strong ties to the local Hispanic community, and seeks to help clients of her criminal law firm in Grand Rapids. Her fluency in Spanish enables her to more effectively serve her friends and neighbors, and her own heritage gives her a special understanding of the struggles facing Hispanic men and women in western Michigan every day. Daisy places an emphasis on the individual in each case — she purposefully limits the number of cases she takes on to offer personalized attention to each client. With Daisy, it’s not about the money — it’s about always doing the right thing for her clients and their children.

Elizabeth Reyes
Elizabeth moved to Grand Rapids from the West Coast when she was just 10 years old and has called western Michigan her home ever since. Her experience in tax preparation for the Hispanic community — as well as her own heritage and fluency in Spanish — cuts through the language barriers that often prevent members of the Hispanic community from finding effective legal guidance. She is particularly successful in settling Grand Rapids family law cases before they go to trial, saving her clients time, money and frustration. When she’s not working on cases, she loves to travel, volunteer and cook out with friends and family.
